Rev. Douglas F. Wilson - Pastor

Pastor Douglas F. Wilson, was born in Baltimore in August, 1956 and lived in Canton, in Baltimore City.
He joined the Galilee Baptist Church in the Spring of 1977, under the Pastorate of the late Rev. Shirley Ranson.

He held many offices within the church including Trustee and Deacon.

Rev. Wilson was called to the Ministry and licensed in 1986.  He preached his Initial Sermon on November 23, 1986, and was ordained in 1987.

He served as Interim Pastor from August, 1989 to his election as Pastor, on June 22, 1990.

He has been pastoring the Galilee Baptist Church since 1990 to present.  He desires that the church would be a Matthew 28:19 Church, which says: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
