Statement of Purpose:
The purpose of the Galilee Baptist Church Missionary Ministry is to assist with the spiritual and physical needs of the church family and community at large.
We oversee the food pantry and clothing closet and make available to those who seek assistance.
Our responsibility includes witnessing and leading others to Christ; and providing spiritual, physical and emotional assistance and service to those who are un-churched, ill, bereaved or needy. Hoping that their trust in Jesus Christ will make their road in life easier to bear.
Activities we do:
Serve food to hungry, distribution of lunch bags in Baltimore City
Distributed clothing to shelters for men, women and children on regular basis
Outreach to homeless
visit nursing homes distributing gifts etc.
Provide food baskets during the holidays and when needed.
Held Holiday dinners at the church on occasions.
Provide dinner for bereaved families of the church.
Support local shelters monthly.
"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance:for ye serve the Lord Christ."
